WWE SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role
Licensed by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), this sequel to the popular WWF SmackDown has made several improvements upon its predecessor. There are now more than 50 wrestlers from which to choose, including the Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Chyna. New gameplay modes include Ladder Match, Hell in a Cell, Casket Match, and Tornado Tag-Team Match. To mimic the TV show's format even further, plots are developed through cutscenes that feature the voices of the superstars. You can create your own wrestler or even a new pay-per-view event. Season mode includes more matches, events, and pay-per-view events than did its predecessor. It all adds up to a fast and furious virtual version of the real thing.
WWE: Smackdown! Just Bring It!
Square off against more than 30 superstars from the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in no less than 60 different match types. Execute bone-shattering signature finishers like the Rock Bottom and the Stone Cold Stunner as you decimate opponents right and left with more than 1,000 different moves. Style presentation, real-time events, and on-the-fly commentary called by Michael Cole and Tazz put you in the center of the spectacle as WWF stories play out and champions are belted.
WWF Smackdown! Just Bring It begins a whole new season on the PlayStation 2. Square off against more than 30 WWF Superstars in 60 different match types as the most electrifying show in sports-entertainment comes to life like never before.
WWE Smackdown! Shut Your Mouth
This game features an updated roster with even more World Wrestling Entertainment superstars, including Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Stacy Keibler, DDP, Ric Flair, the nWo, and many more. The in-depth story mode has multiple character paths, and for the first time, players will have the option to enter superstars into a World Wrestling Entertainment draft pool.There are a variety of backstage areas modeled after Madison Square Garden, and more than 14 PPV arenas, including Backlash, Vengeance, and Unforgiven. The thousands of animations include superstar signature moves with double- and triple-team moves. The improved create-a-wrestler mode lets players build the ultimate wrestler with a dynamic layer system and a new thumbnail system, allowing even more CAW options. An expanded partner system allows players to take control of their tag-team counterparts.
WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain
WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain showcases more than 55 WWE Superstars including, Brock Lesnar, Scott Steiner, Rey Mysterio and Goldberg. The game includes an all-new story mode that is being created exclusively by WWE writers depicting both fictitious story paths and classic WWE moments. The overall gameplay has been enhanced and features real-life attributes of strength, submission, technique, speed and stamina. These new attributes will allow players to wear down their opponents and take advantage of each Superstar's unique abilities and extensive move sets. WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain's TV-style presentation will also be enhanced with new dynamic camera angles, improved audio, Superstar voiceovers, realistic animations and improved arena and crowd elements.
WWE Smackdown vs. Raw
The sequel to WWF Here Comes the Pain, this six-person simultaneous play wrestling extravaganza lets you test Multi-tap peripherals to the limit. All of 2003's game modes are back, plus the brand-new Parking Lot Brawl match. Original match types, Hell in the Cell, Slobber Knocker, Table Matches, First Blood, are also back for a new working out. Character design and attire has received more detailed treatment, with fierce faces and thunderous moves in evidence. All the old-school legends have been brought back to the roster, such as including John Cena, Randy Orton, Booker T, Ric Flair, Batista, Triple H, Chris Jericho, Rico, and Charlie Haas.
WWE comes to life with Superstar Voice Over and commentary throughout the unparallel season mode. An abundundance of new gameplay mechanics provide full control all aspects of the game including new stare downs, chop battles, submission reversals, match tactics and overhauled Royal Rumble controls. The divas are hotter than ever, from the halls of immortality, come a handful of the most celebrated legends to ever lace up their boots.
