| I can't get over this girl. I don't know why, usually when I get rejected by a girl it hurts for a while and then I move on to my next obsession.
But this time, even after she turned me down, explicitly saying she didn't like me like that, these feelings continued. That was four months ago.
I don't know exactly what it is about her, because this girl, well, she's very pretty, but I can't possibly imagine her in a sexual situation even though she's 17. I usually end up laughing when I try.
The only thing we really have in common is taste in music. Well, at least insofar as I love the music she listens to. Doesn't work so well vise-versa, though I'm going to try to get her into Rush (she's an Ayn Rand libertarian.. I'm communist, but Rush just rocks).
To top it all off, she's never dated. She's not even willing to try with anyone, because she's convinced that it's better to spend all her time dancing (ballet) than to go out and be a teenager. She also doesn't like dances, so it's hard to ask her to one of those with the hope that maybe something might spark off there. She would've gone to junior prom this year, but she's got a dance recital that day.
I'm convinced that if she tried it out she'd like it. and also I think that her feelings toward me might have changed since December. But it just seems like a hopeless situation right now. |
