| doctor,
four years ago i went to your office about every week. you took blood tests. your nurses asked why i was losing weight. i had muscle pains. migranes. swollens knees and ankles. ulcers. iron-deficiency anemia. a severe electrolyte imbalance. lightheaded and extremely cold.
i was only 15 then. my problem was obvious. why didn't you try to help me?
if you would have helped me, maybe this problem wouldn't still be here. maybe i wouldn't wish for those days when i stole those surgical steel razors from your office.
maybe if you would have tried to help me, i wouldn't have to be doing this on my own.
sincerely, kate |
