| everyone i know is associated with a song in my head. like when i hear any song by the beatles, i think of my dad. when i talk to my sister, i think of ‘you make me feel like dancing'. when i hear ‘precipitate' i think of daphne, goddamnit. when i see bush, i think of ‘highway to hell'. when i hear ‘game of love' (a song that i hate with passion), i think of my 10th grade history teacher that i thought i was in love with. if this makes any sense at all, then yea, its been getting pretty annoying. whenever i see my dad multiple times during the day, one line from a beatles song will continue to play over and over again during our conversations. it gets to the point where i want to stick my head under a drill press. |
