One of the Spanish mannerists, Macip shows the influence of Italian painters, especially Raphael, in his design. Among his chief works are Holy Family (Academy, Madrid); the Last Supper (Church of St. Nicholas, Valencia); and scenes from the life of St. Stephen (Prado).
