Riquelme underperformed in the qurter final of World cup!!!

Hell is the analysis. It is only after he was substituted, Germany equalized the earlier Argentina goal from Roberto Ayala header off Riquelme corner.

That match, Tevez was just crap and they did not introduce Messi at all in stead.
When he was substituted, you should have seen the look on his face ??? perplexed by the coach's decision... !!!!

Coach must have thought this guy would get injured or would get a card. With his game this would be a rarity...!!!! What a coach...!!!
Riquelme is an elegant player who has a lazy or rather laid back, unhurried style who can thrive only when he becomes the prima donna, but put up a player of the combattive nature of Makelele,Mascherano or Essien against him , then neither style nor substance will be visible for long.
Federer, you can put behind 2008 debacle (by your standards) and begin 2009 with a bang by winning the Australian open.

All the best !
