Hmmm...interesting concept (at least the abuse one)...can't grasp the intermingled snake concept though...is this movie trying to potray a real delimma (such as physical abuse, hitting, that is...or is it promoting dillusionary thinking as a way out of all serious issues?)....I expected better (and perhaps the usual even more depressing but realistic at least) from dear Deepa Mehta who is ever so successful in selling depression and sadness. Don't think this one will generate waves anywhere (including the US and the UK)...who wantes to waste time and money watching absurdity!..but then again, maybe, the reviewers (yes, all of them!) weren't able to grasp the intelligent concept (maybe this movie has one?) that she was trying to potray..will have to watch this one to decide.
